Default Do foes, not suffer DP in HM?

I only ask because i am trying to vanquish Riven Earth and I have hit a group of 6, yes six, of the Simian Spiritcaller Spammers of flesh of my flesh. I have killed them all , now about 30 times, WTF mate. What can i do without redoing the whole f'ing map. This is fail i think in total of being broken.

It also doesnt list on Wiki if this is a fact or not. It only seems fair if they can gain xp, (via deathleveling, Pre-searing), that they should suffer the same Death Penalty we do in HM. Is that way off?

wtb moar domoge? I don't recall if monsters get DP or not, but either way just kill them all before they can resurrect? I beat that area ages ago on my ranger hero/hench, so I'm sure you can too.

I ended up getting it but it took longer than the whole rest of the freakin area. I am sad that, they even spawned together like that.

It is an extreme anet fail i think. I had plenty of damage and I wouldnt change my whole build just to be /R and have frozen soil in a non-elite area. It was bad.

lol i started a thread about this a while back asking the same thing, i was stuck on a bunch of charr with 2 healers (one lvl 30 boss) and a rt, and a dominator (they have hard rez) and i just couldnt kill them fast enough. So i started a thread asking (venting some steam too) the general reply was "i don't know"

Well alot of people said yes, alot said no, so i drew the conclusion noone knows. So i just stopped the vanq and come back with frozen soil.

Il ask regina next time i see her online xD

Since you can death lvl things, maybe that means when you die they get exp and get rid of their dp?

I met four. It helps if you attack right after they rez, because flesh of my flesh sacrifices half your health.

Alternatively... interrupts? Maybe you hit more than one group? It could be that foes in HM do get DP, just that the buff makes it relatively negligible compared to DP on you.

my party was 10% boost the whole time , discord with henchies. It was 5 of them in one group (after looking at screenshot), I couldnt interrupt 4 flesh of my flesh at the same time, it was like they all spammed it. In my 4 years of playing it was the top 5 on gayest spawns ever.

Yeah, I ran into something similar - after two people disconnected but we were unwilling to restart because we were already halfway through. Best chance is to spike them right after they rez, I guess - take advantage of the health sac, like I said.

I have had this spawn in this zone before as well in hm, I almost ended up having to throw in the towel and I was at +10% when I encountered them. the way I finally beat them was to pull them to the utmost length of their chasing range and kill them off while they ran back and forth.

I have to laugh, because your primary problem is....

dun dun dun dun! Discord. If you were actually using a good build instead of just a pvx nub build you wouldn't have had any issues... but as it was, simian spiritcallers have excellent condition removal, nullifying your primary damage.

I have to agree. I just vanquished that zone tonight and encountered the exact same group, but had no issues - it took maybe twice the time to kill them than a normal simian group. The secret here is pressure. Flesh of my flesh knocks them down halfway each time they cast it, so if you keep constant AoE pressure on all of them, when they start falling and rezzing, they just get weaker and weaker till they all go down. Minions + MoP + Splinter Weapon = well, yeah, Sabway... It may also be a "pvx nub build," but it's sooo much better than Discordway.
